Community Overview The City of Willard is located in the southwest section of Huron County. Important features of Willard include diversified manufacturing and agricultural activity and the good overland transportation network. The community has increased its importance as a rail center with the $50 million expansion presently underway due to the purchase of Conrail by CSXT. The other principle industries are engaged in printing, metal fabrication, and baking. Willard has an active city government willing to help in industrial expansion.
