The City of Willard is requesting proposals from qualified individuals to provide residential building code services, property maintenance, and zoning and enforcement services. The scope of these services includes, but is not limited to: handling construction/structural related permits such as new construction and renovation, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, pool, deck, sheds, signs, fences, unfit buildings etc. All technical requirements and building codes are administered under Building Code Administration. Property maintenance codes enforced include, but not limited to: exterior maintenance of residential buildings; public nuisance, related to health and safety, junk cars, noise, garbage, high grass and weeds, tree removal without a permit, and other violations of the City of Willard Property Maintenance Code and Zoning Code Ordinances. In November of 2014, City of Willard voters authorized by majority vote the creations of an Electric Aggregation Program to seek lower electricity rates for eligible residential and business customers. The City of Willard selected Constellation Energy Services, Inc. to supply electricity to the program. If you are a resident or small business owner you were automatically enrolled unless you opted out by May 15, 2015.

. The City of Willard has negotiated a competitive price of $0.0709/kWh and you should see that from your first meter read in June of 2015 through June of 2018.
