WINTER COMPOST HOURS
This lot is open Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. And also open on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon. Residents may bring brush, grass clippings, leaves, and miscellaneous yard waste. If yard waste is in a plastic bag, you must dump out of the bag and take it with you. We will only accept filled bags that are biodegradable. This is not a dumping area for trash. LAST DAY FOR LEAF MACHINE PICKUP IS NOV. 26TH
On Wednesday, November 26  the city crews will make one last sweep of the town for leaves. After that, residents must bag their leaves in biodegradable bags and  take the bags to the composting area at the City Garage, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays 9:00 a.m. until noon. Crews will NOT pick up bags left at the curb.
